lollib Posted August 29 Report Share Posted August 29 I heard it takes up to a month for it to get out of your system but I would still use another form of birth control. Also, once it is out of your system, you are more likely to get pregnant. My sister was on it for about 5 years, went off to have a baby and got pregnant in about a month. Bebby Posted August 30 Report Share Posted August 30 Yeah thats def putting yourself in a higher risk of getting pregnat..I would just go to your gyn and tell him-her you need a diff type of BC.. Plus everyones body is different.. you cant go by other peoples experiences of getting pregnant an not getting pregnant. I wouldnt take the chance.. mssabina Posted August 30 Report Share Posted August 30 even if you miss taking your pill for more than two days then you can forget about the cycle working to protect you from getting pregnant... so i would think if you stop taking it altogether, then you'd better be using some other sort of birth control...
