Featured Articles Search MTV Boosts Support For Dance 10.07.2002 MTV Boosts Support For Dance MTV Dance is planning to turn its spotlight of exposure on areas of dance music that perhaps gets missed by general music TV programming they say. Videos from garage, house, trance, techno and drum and bass artists that wouldn't get shown normally will now have an hour (hey, it's a start) from 10pm Monday to Friday. The channel has been compiling a definitive list of all the house, techno, drum and bass, UK Garage and trance videos 'in existence' and will be actively supporting these communities by showcasing new talent alongside more old school classics. MTV says this is the first time that these specific genres have been given a dedicated show on TV, a new platform of support within the UK dance scene.
