i kinda resent that considering im past 28 and hang out with all people older than that usually and go to clubs. Actually i use to go to factory last year wioth a few friends who were all 32 - 26 yrs old..

as far as wanting to party w your kids. i have hit uyp joeys a few times w my pop and his friendsand hes 57

Growing Up, Not Old

Lots of people spend time trying desperately establish themselves as adults, working like dogs to be taken seriously, only to pick their heads up and realize that they may have missed the point -- which is quite simply, to be happy. :D and if clubbing, listening to music makes you happy then NEVER STOP. . .

If I've learned anything on my meandering path to adulthood, it's that 95 percent of getting what you want in life is figuring out what that is. It's knowing yourself well enough to separate what you really want from what you think you're supposed to want, what your parents wanted you to want, and what society and the other 18 million interest groups, peers, and friends tell you to want.

Just make sure you are getting what you want out of life!!

Why is this such an issue? I've seen so many threads on this and it is really starting to annoy me. Just have fun! There is no age to stop. If you enjoy it, do it. If you like the music, listen to it. Eventually(most likely) your taste will change, and when that happens you'll know. The most important thing is to have your priorities in order, and that changes with time also. Right now it is important for most to go out and have fun, but eventually we'll all have kids(husband/wifes) and other things will be important. You may miss "the good ol' times,"but you'll always have the memories and the music.

My parents grew up in the fifties and to this day they still listen to the music and so do I. I love the oldies(50's music R&R). So I figure my kids will be listening to something from my past. Just think, Don K Reed and "the doo wop shop" spinning Deep Kemical on 101.1FM..............lol, in 20yrs that will be the oldies
