pluryou Posted November 15 Report Share Posted November 15 My dad just informed me that I got a application to West Point in the mail. I know its a great opportunity but am unsure if I want to apply. Anyone have any thoughts? My dad and bf really want me to go. I don't know...........ahhhhhhhh. If I do apply I think it has to be by July and if that's true I will no longer be going to Germany but instead be going to New York. Thank you and hope everyone is doing well. I think I'm going to give it a lot of thought and research as much information as I can get. I know I may want to become an officer somewhere down the line of my career. The doctor checking in to answer all your personal questions.Like raver said, do what YOU want, not what your bf wants.If you are planning on staying in the military then you would be stupid not to go to West Point, unless you want to be some grunt filing papers for the next 30 years. If your gonna be there for 30 years, then be a officer and get paid more and be able to tell other people what to do, rather then some boring paper pushing job. Good luck private.
