dnice35 Posted November 15 Report Share Posted November 15 HEBRON, West Bank (CNN) -- At least nine people were shot dead Friday by Palestinian militants in the West Bank city of Hebron, Israeli news media reported. The victims, believed to be Israeli settlers in the city, were celebrating the Jewish Sabbath, according to Israeli media. It is unclear whether they were on their way to prayer services or had assembled for a service. Some of the victims may also have been soldiers protecting Israelis in the area. Those injured were evacuated by helicopters to local hospitals. Earlier Friday, in the West Bank city of Nablus, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said a 16 year-old Palestinian was shot and killed in a stone-throwing incident. Two other teenagers were lightly wounded, the society said. The Israel Defense Forces said it was checking the report. The attack comes five days after a Palestinian gunman attacked a kibbutz in northern Israel. The Sunday shooting killed five people, Israeli military radio reported. Police and army officials rushed to the scene at Kibbutz Metzer, a collective village near the West Bank border, but did not find the gunman. Shortly after the attack, two Israeli Apache helicopters fired on a target in central Gaza City. The helicopters fired at least four missiles, apparently targeting a workshop near Palestine Square, in part of the old city, the sources said.This is why I have no compasion for the palestinians......
