Too bad I missed seeing Sven Vath spin. I probably would have missed him anyways if I had continued waiting in line at Filter.A bigger space is definitely needed for the next time Vath and Hawtin play together (or perhaps even individually), even on a Monday night. The lines didn't move, only way to get in was to somehow talk to the door people or promoters, place was packed beyond capacity.Got in about 12:30, caught the tail end of Vath's set. Hawtin kicked ass though.The main room was a packed like sardines, barley any room to dance. Too packed and having to wait is one thing. understable, but a fucking popularity contest to get in is just BS... sorry. waiting on the line was pointless.they werent letting anyone off it unless you were *picked* oh well...guess I'm just not *cool* enough. music at baktun was incredible as was the vibe. justin robertson was showin off some skillz. Smith got me going as always and bushwacka was a really nice surprise. I cant really speak about Sven as I didnt get to hear a single track.
