...as for me, there isnt just one reason to work out...its a combination of health and image...i was a fat kid that took a brutal beating for being overweight...there is also a history of heart disease problems in my family...add to that, i just feel better all around when i am working out...healthier...happier...more engergetic...it just works for me...

if you want to have a decent body, you have to know your limits...and what you're willing to put into your body. some of my most favorite foods,i have to give up because they contain additives and preservatives that will help to kill you quicker in the end...because they are foreign to your body. there's a girl in one of my classes who goes on about how milk sold nowadays is mainly dead cells and shit left over from pasteurizing the hell out of it...white bread has bleached flour, as do many pastries, etc....

i used to wonder why people were into tofa and certain foods made a certain way...now i understand why. food can really kill you...

anyways, guess as long as you don't eat crap and work out at least 3 times a week for around 1-3 hours, you have a chance of beating an unhealthy body.
