odyessy turntable case ?

just got my two diamond style cases in the mail from musicians friend, but i was wondering if you take the turntable feet off or if you keep them on, cause i've seen it both ways. right now i just put the techs inside the case with the lil feet on, but which is the correct or better way to do it?
