emm..guess I should have read through the article more carefully!

However, I wonder if $615 is the list price...if so, then its cheaper than the MK3D (list price of $749)...but if $615 is the sale price (which makes more sense) then they're a helluva lot more expensive for not much extra!

I only have two comments.

1) The M3D is the best turntable ever. So why bother.

2) If a DJ needs +-16% pitch control, that DJ is spinning the wrong genre of music. Sure, I guess it'd be interesting to mix in Frank Sinatra with Deep Dish, but I'd say be a man about it and take Frank into Sound Forge or ProTools and pitch shift it digitally so you don't ruin the key of the vocals and make Frank sound like Theodore Chipmunk.

Sounds like they're just trying to create a market where there doesn't need to be one. But I guess that's why artists like Eminem are considered artists by the stupid people of the world.

I know the Numark TTX's have a key lock to avoid making vocals sound like they're sung by chipmunks.

Not sure about the MK5 though.
