nyis4meatheads
They'll fight this one all the way to the supreme court. It's fucked that a company can find my IP Address, then demand that my ISP send my personal information to them. Hopefully this will get defeated somewhere down the line.Articles like this come out all the time, nothing to worry about. As soon as they squash file sharing in one form, it pops up in another. There are ways you could avoid this problem all together... keep everything anonymous. This is what I LOVE about soul seek. It's not big at all, which keeps it away from this kind of scrutiny (unlike Kazaa). Plus, it's based around electronic music, which most people could give a rat's ass about.... so chances are it'll stay on the dl for a long time. Plus there's no law agains exchanging live sets and such. I buy so few CDs I don't think it'll have too much of an effect on me. Fucking stupid sunny outlook on life!
