pod Posted January 30 Report Share Posted January 30 Apparently it wasn't sold. The tenants just changed. I've got the owner's record, but the date of the last property-related transaction was 1996. Ownership changes are public record, not rental changes. The same firm's owned the building for 7 years, just had 3 or 4 tenants go through it...Lola I, Lola II, and there was something there before Lola...Very few people who open a venue on Miami Beach, or Dade County for that matter, actually own the building. Though the 2002 assessment of the property is only $354,396, so it wouldn't be too difficult to buy...but the building wasn't sold, someone else just signed a lease and are moving in.
