mushroom honey

i've heard of putting mushrooms in honey...letting them sit for some time...and eventually getting shroom potent honey throughout...can anyone back it up?

Yes it is true,

It works best with fresh shrooms and if you chop them up before you put them in the honey.

Still try to keep them cool, or you will lose some potency.

They should keep for months and months.

And make sure you get real honey! not the cheep stuff, which is manufactured/man-made. Real honey has a natural preservative.

i really don't understand your question. are you saying that you don't like the taste of mushrooms?................. did you mean why don't you just eat the mushrooms?

so all you're saying is just chop up like an 1/8, put the shrooms in pure honey and let them sit for months and months. but do you only dip the shrooms in honey or do you put them in a large jar? and if you put them in a large jar is all the honey gonna be potent?

The idea is you have more mushrooms than you know what to do with and wish to preserve them.

and yes, believe it or not, it happens sometimes

and the honey certainly does help the taste.
