You have every right to be mad for him lying - especially over something so seemingly insignificant.... however, don't rule him out just yet. Maybe he was just scared you wouldn't give him a real chance if you knew how old he really was. Even though he did lie, he might still be a genuinely good guy. Give him one more chance to prove it! But it is possible he was afraid of rejection right off the bat if he thought he was too old 4 you I don't see why talking to him as a friend would be bad.
