St. Patty's Day?

The 4P's gets waaaayyyy too packed. There's usually a pretty long line to get in by noon too.

Gonna have to do some more research on this one. Cookie, are there any other Irish pubs downtown...if not, mebbe we have to hit a normal bar.

Ideally, an Irish bar with live music would be great...but I'm guessing thats gonna be a bit hard to find (a place where its still possible to get drinks every hour, at least!)

I wonder if its still open...

anyhow, I've been to every pub on that list Cookie, I'd avoid Sine in Pentagon City. The service is horrendous!

I used to go to this place too. We used to joke that the only thing Irish about it was the name. It was (don't know if it still is) more of a college bar and a hang-out for the Georgetown Law kids. Was a fun place though.

I usually go to Murphy's, Flanagan's or the Four Courts (it's down the street from me).

Almost right - the second Irish thing about it is the large quantity of beer you can consume.

Krish - Fado is kitty corner to the Gallery Place metro. Right where the Chinatown arch is located. Irish Channel is about 2 blocks from the Gallery Place metro (same exit as Fado). Irish Times is only a few blocks from Union Station. Not hard to find at all.

I like Fado. It's a cool place. Four Courts is cool too. Used to be my stomping ground when our offices were in Arlington.

Anyways I would say go to Irish Times, been there a couple of times and it was ok........
