HAZE
They are claiming 15 HP and only take 15 min to install.I'm kinda skeptical, what do you guys think?http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2911034654&category=1256
cintron
sounds like bullshit to me. some of the shit they have in there makes no sense whatsoever, like sensors losing accuracy.Unless it replaces those sensors to fix this so called "problem", then it's simply operating off a set map that has no regard to the running condition of your engine... which is bad.i'm not a fan of chips at all. I'd rather have electronic tunable boxes or standalone engine management. for the money i'd say an intake and exhaust would give you better gains. until i see a dyno chart, their claim to HP is just that. a claim.looks kind of like an HKS AFR. probably tries to lean out the mixture to get more power.you really don't want to do that unless you've got good control over the engine. foodidoo
the only chips or program downloads that are worth it are the ones for cars with turbo. they are the most noticable
teklord310
Most chips on ebay are garbage. On the 944 we've gone through 3 sets of chips, they put down power but the tricky party is the A/F ratio. Chips on a N/A car don't do much, don't believe those numbers. Actually don't believe any HP numbers you see unless you see the dyno printouts. 15hp for an intake, 20hp for an exhaust. Bullshit, on a N/A car anyway. You can't add numbers either.7hp gain on an intake + 7 hp gain on an exhust does not equal an easy 14hp gain.
