You think people from South Jersey are a different breed 2. If you see another Starbucks you're gonna kill yourself 3. You go to 7-11 not WaWa's 4. You're a five minute drive from the skyline 5. You hang out with people from other towns more than your own town 6. Every girl you know owns a Tiffany's charm bracelet and an expensive bag 7. Most guys you know have dark, spiky hair and shop at Armani Exchange, Diesel or Abercrombie. 8. You went to camp 9. You love Bon Jovi and have found yourself singing "Livin' on a Prayer" while wasted at a bar or a party. 10. You don't understand why there aren't 24 hour diners everywhere else in the country 11. You still go to your high school thanksgiving game 12. You see everyone you know at the diner 13. You don't pump your own gas and you like it that way! 14. You've run out of money on the Parkway 15. You've spent prom weekend at Seaside or Wildwood 16. On your 21st birthday you vow to go to Hoboken 17. You know you where the Bada Bing is. 18. You've jumped on the Nets Bandwagon. 19. yaknow03 Posted February 21 Report Share Posted February 21 haha shit's trueu can add albino-ville to that list...its supposeldy around fort lee / edgewater but never been there cos i heard they throw rocks at ur carsome others to add: this relates more to south bergen than upper bergen.1. u never knew there was such thing as a "central" jersey until u went to rutgers...there used to be only north n south...2. u dont have krauser's... it's 7-113. u dont take "day trips" to the city like people from central / south jersey4. u lived a good part of ur life in an NYC outer-boro5. ur town is 2miles by 2miles wide6. people from morristown / parsippany are arent "north" jersey..theyre "west" jersey cos theyre out in the boons7. u still dont understand y everything is closed sundays8. ur church has its own spanish mass9. ur town has its own local movie theatre with 4 doller student matinees (not like a lowe's)10. u laught at the rest of jersey cos the lowe's at ridgefield park is only 6 bucks11. u think people from south jersey r the same as people from alabama / u think people from central jersey are PC n boring12. u went out with someone outside ur race13. u cant park ur car in the street past a certain hour14. u have a basketball court in walking distance from ur house15. u drove through alpine and englewood cliffs just to look at houses16. theres a bus stop n deli by ur house17. u take the backroads to garden state plaza18. u ate at bon buffet19. u like the white manna burgers at hackensack20. ur a knick fan first, nets second21. u've witnessed the "white-flight" take place in ur town22. u went to music factory in east rutherford23. u know which side of teaneck the jews live in and which side the blacks live in24. ur town has a "memorial park"25. u played in PAL26. a filipino just moved next door n u can smell their food cooking all the time27. u think kids who go to BC are gay, especially when u see their rally chants at basketball games28. u own a pair of timbs29. u say po-po instead of police30. u know when the ice cream truck comes thru ur block31. u had a brown out cos a squirrel got electricuted on an electricty wirethats all i could think of for now Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
