utopiasyndrome
Peace... it seems as though the only time alot of artists i may want to see perform ever come to South Florida is during the Winter Music Conference... artists within the Turntablist, Nu JAzz, IDM, Lounge, Abstract, Experimental, and Underground Hip Hop realm... Is it just me? have I just been missing out? or does it seem like alot of artists within the genres I just mentioned dont swing by here? I figure they would, provided Miami seems to have a nice little underground scene brewing.. theres alot of fresh local talent within the IDM, live band, Turntablist, Hip Hop, beat digger type fusion arts that Ican't quite seem to put a finger on... Im clueless.. any info given would be much appreciated.. all im sayin is that id love to see event's like Manipulated Sounds Seminar, Future Primitive, and other stuff i read about going down everywhere else in Florida... peace to all local artists..uToPiA-sYnDrOmE

asian
Remix is hosting turntablists on Friday the 21st for its Sunset Sessions event with Craze, A-Trak, J-Smoke, The Mixologists, and Killa Kella. Admission is free if you sign up for their workshops and demos. It's an early event, runs from 6-10 so you can still catch other parties that night.http://www.industryclick.com/microsites/index.asp?srid=11474&pageid=6409&siteid=15&magazineid=48&srtype=
