dogekid Posted March 6 Report Share Posted March 6 (if it's fixed, keep this in mind in the future)almost every company has a firewall set up to filter/block incoming/outgoing packets of information. AIM is one of those. sometimes the system admins will change the ports that this traffic flows on. so...go to Edit Options --> Edit Preferences --> Sign On/Offclick on the Connection buttonchoose Auto-Configurethis will either fail, in which case AIM's servers are possibly down or your entire network is hosed, or it will find any ports that are open for "listening"good luck.
