I got there with my camera and my all-too-cute production assistant Stephanie, we took shots of the whole thing, Missy Elliot was the only celebrity in the hizouse, i couldn't interview her, she just walked on by...Trick was cool...when the priest asked him if he would take his bride to be his beloved wife, he answered, and i quote "Fo'sho" wich resulted in a general laugh of approval, i got my interview with him right after his photo session...then it was off to the reception right across the race track (it was at the Hialeah Park race track) this guy is a cheapo, he's got millions (i believe) and the wedding was really not all that great, every high expense was sorted and avoided, even the food and bar where pretty slim...only alcohol they served was cognac, so I asked for a straight cognac and I mixed it with an unusually delicious pink lemonade punch...the lemonade was the highlight of the party...the fired chicken was also incredible, but come on, who serves fried chicken at a wedding??? My job seemed to be running pretty smoothly, but when the master of ceremonies began asking Trick to do silly things like for example, dance the "crazy chicken" I noticed he told one of his fellow thugs to kindly escort me out, I guess he wanted to protect his rep as a bad ass motha fucka, I did get lots of amazing material...as we were loading up the equipment on to the truck all hell broke loose...we saw people running out of the ballroom onto the paking lot and suddenly cops flodded as if they had been waiting around the corner for something to happen...as it turns out according to an eyewitness, one of the cooks wasn't happy with the way he was being treated by Trick's friends and confronted one of the guest to wich in return he got thrown to the floor...that's when Trick himself decided to get a piece of the action and grabbed a milk-crate with wich he hit the guy repeatedly before he managed to free himself and run like hell out of the ball-room onto the parking lot, across the field onto the street and I guess...for the horror in his face, he's probably still running.I didn't shoot the brawl, nor will I include it on my repoirt of the wedding...I just wanted to share with you this little story wich I'd like to call "all in a funketeer's day at the office" peace and chicken greaseFunketeer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I did a wedding last week at the national hotel. they wanted a large rig of lighting and sound for 52 People attended. and the Priest got drunk and start to break dance and busted out with glow sticts.
