WWII was an extreme situation, Cold War was an extreme situation and US and Soviet interventions all over the place. If N. Korea restarted a Korean war, that would be extreme. The war with Iraq was not an extreme situation for the reasons I have already stated in other posts.

You are still not making sense, because you have stated that why should we fight Iraq, when there are other threats like N Korea....that is your justification for not fighting this war--because there are "other" threats---you are saying if we fight in Iraq, why not in otherplaces...the whole stance is contradictory in natureNow, you say Iraq is not an extreme situation?....of course, you would be one of those who wouldn't think it was an extreme situation until there was a chem/bio attack in NYC traced back to Iraq......some of us are not willing to take that chance anymore--with good reasonHowever, your view is respected, therefore I would like to know what your alternative would have been with Iraq, knowing that diplomacy has no chance with Iraq (12+ years), weapons inspections does not work as a practical solution (fact), and Hussein and his regime is one of the most brutal, repulsive regimes known to man whose atrocities has been ignored for too long..I would like to hear what your PRACTICAL solution would be
