norahmiami
**Congrats on a great show!! It is a fresh concept, better than all the cheesy Univision latin music shows.I have some suggestions for the Roof1) Your female host knows NOTHING about dance music, in fact in she even admits it (????)......She is cute, dances and all that but comes from a total different scene/crowd and the fact that she doesnt know any of the videos/djs you play, just doesnt look good............See any dance music show fr UK/Germany/Spain and you will know what I am talking about. MTV Europe or Viva from Germany are two great examples.2) In terms of Djs, you should try and keep it 50-50 (local and international), your show airs across the country, right? Why not showcase some NY-talent, West Coast talent, etc. Let me give you some names, David Waxman, Bill Patrick, Low End Specialists, Erick Morillo, Harry Cho-Cho, etc. I think Jon Cowan, DHM and other local talent mentioned above should also be included !!!!3) No offense but I prefer Buster's Alternative TV hosting style much more than what you have on at the moment. Again, I praise the effort made by the Roof & the dance segment but charisma, content and knowledge of dance music is MUCH appreciated. Hope this is helpful. gimmeluv
Hey there-I just moved from Dallas where Miss (or Ms.??) Molotov plays a lot at the Lizard Lounge and on 102.1 FM. I just found out she's from Miami when I saw her spin at Crobar and I'm psyched about that. There's just sump'in about female DJ's who can work the crowd. I noticed there aren't many other chick DJ's here. What's up with that?? Are the guy DJ's and club owners intimidated by female talent??Well, ya'll need to get over that! Anyway, just thought I'd put my fitty cents in-Peace out
