tinybutterfli
I thought I'd ask some experts I'm moving at the end of this month and I am very interested in dumping my dial up connection and using a high-speed internet service.Any recommendations? I know nothing about this...

I know nothing about this... Get Verizon DSL. You can get the 1.5 Mbps line (T1 speed) for $60/mo. Or you can get half that speed for cheaper. Cable modem can be just as fast, but if you live in an area with lots of subscribers, you might not get the full speed of the line because it's a shared network. eggmok
just so you know tini, it depends on your location and what you can actually qualify for . . .dsl might not be offered through covad or verizon in your area so cable would be the second best bet . . .find out where you're moving to first then call around and see what's available . . .
