Taking the elements associated with the U.K.'s big beat generation, the Crystal Method enhances this style of stomping funk with a pinch of American spice.Perhaps a crude simplification, Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland -the Crystal Method ' have been described as the USA's answer to the Chemical Brothers. They relocated from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in 1989 after working on vocal house tracks but having become increasingly interested in underground, non-vocal dance music. The Crystal Method's sound is a hybrid of 70s funk and disco samples (from artists such as Stevie Wonder and Isaac Hayes) and dense layers of percussion and synthesized loops.BT / NETTWERK, U.S.A.BT has been a major force in pushing the boundaries of electronic music from his early collaborations with Deep Dish in the early 90's, right up to his first Nettwerk release, "Movement in Still Life", released last year.
