Cadillac and Chevy to try selling in Europe again

Recommended Posts

according to WhatCar.com, Cadillac and Chevy are trying to lure Europeans again. Their last attempt failed miserably and ended in 2001, when GM tried selling the Seville, Camaro, Corvette, and Blazer in Europe. The automotive press ripped The Camaro, Seville, and Blazer. They were considered to be some of the worst cars ever sold in Europe: terrible on gas, terrible quality, and too big for most driveways and parking spaces.

despite having Opel and Vauxhall in Europe, GM wants to try again with the CTS, XLR, and the next-gen Corvette and Seville models.

i predict yet another massive failure.

what do you think?

U said it.... watch them tank BIG time...

I mean, they still cant hold their ground at home ..(except when they get an advantage in pricing..including on parts). The quality still cant match the Euros and Asian makers...

With the hostile US sentiments in europe, they can guarantee themselves a disaster. The marketing pres. should be fired for trying to push this through...especially at this time. This should be easy for the world market to evaluate the potential sales/no-sales debacle. The shareholders will be throwing a fit come next meeting.

Can u say....."oops there it is?":D
