bigsteve8 Posted July 30 Report Share Posted July 30 Point pleasant. . .only has one big place, Jenkinsons, which has cover bands, some decent local bands on the weekend (de sol, flying mueller bros) (www.jenksclub.com) . Diverse crowd, mostly on the abercrombie&fitch type crowd, primarily white. Otherwise in Point pleasant is Martell's Tiki Bar, which is a decent bar with bands.About 15 minutes north of Pt Pleasant is Belmar, which has 2 good places, Bar A and D'Jais. Bar A is a similar crowd to Pt Pleasant (www.bar-a.com). D'Jais is a great place, lots of dj's, a new york kinda crowd, decent amount of guidos (www.djais.com).South of Pt Pleasant is Seaside Heights, some people like it, some hate it, like me, i wont say anything about it.
