He co-founded Full Cycle Records alongside Roni Size in 1992, and many credit him with inventing “techstepâ€. In 1997 Krust was responsible for co-writing Reprazent’s massive album “New Formsâ€, and his solo efforts have been critically acclaimed, starting with 1999’s “Coded Languageâ€. Krust embraces numerous creative mediums to accentuate his music, deriving inspiration from photography and video footage. In 1992 DJ DIE encountered Roni Size by chance at a Bristol Record store, which led to their first collaboration “Agility†on V Recordings and to Die’s ongoing contributions to the Full Cycle catalogue. Together with Roni, he originated the seminal “music boxâ€, which was to become the title track of the debut Full Cycle compilation in 1996. Solo efforts like “Landslide†and “Jittabugâ€, would help carve out a niche for Die, who became known for his ability to fuse the jazz with the breaks to create devastating, seismic floor shakers. Originally from New Zealand, TALI is a classically trained singer and pianist (but her first passion is song-writing and composing), having been writing and recording her own music since she was 10.
