Luckily I live with my girl and she has a more stable head on her shoulders.

DING DING DING...

Ever since i started seeing my girl almost a year ago ive been better. I started feeling like that too. Now i hardly do anything anymore. We have our once in a while Crazy nights out...but thats it.

Its a good thing...time to concentrate on work and school so i can make some $$ and get the fuck outta this state.

I hate drinking :puke:, so I'm limited in my vices. :(

I've been there, and have a good handle on things. I've managed to limit my pot smoking to less than half the time, and hardly drink anymore. I realized that I didn't need to smoke every time I went to the grocery to to run errends..or before I call my mum.

I find that the easiest way, at least in my experience, to stop doing drugs (if you feel things are getting out of hand) is as simple as NOT GOING OUT. I've noticed a pattern in my life where I'll get fucked up every weekend starting Friday night until Sunday night and after a while it just gets ridiculous.. spending all that money, doing retarded things, killing braincells etc etc. for what?? It's worthless!!

So I take breaks, for a few weeks at a time, or every other weekend where I basically just GROUND myself, cause my parents can't do it for me.

I find later that my head is in a much better place and I focus better on things that are really important, like my family, work and my education.

I never thought there was anything WRONG with doing drugs, just as long as it's in MODERATION, which everyone has heard a million times over. It's really not so hard...just don't go out or just say NO .. i swear to god, it may sound corny but it WORKS!!!

:D

It's not that easy, because I don't do drugs when I go out... I lock myself in my apartment with some company, dim lighting, and way too much snow... But I am really trying now. Really really hard...

maybe you should change your group of friends? I know that sounds easier than it is to do, but that could be part of your problem.

get rid of her.

That is the most ridiculous thing that I have heard... I have been with her for 5 and a half years... I have the same problem, but I should dump her for having it too?

5 and a half years and u think u should get rid of her because of the bad habit u have? well if she also does drugs or whatever u do then she can't be helping but if she loves u u could talk to her about how u feel and if she really truly does love u she will help u in which is she is doing drugs will also help her but dont dump her because you can't rid of your problem....in my case i had a girlfirend who used just as much as me if i did e so did she coke so did she weed so did she etc. it was a bad relationship now i'm with a new girl who has tried a few drugs but when i told her about how i am trying to stop she did too and i just feed off of her and i've been clean for 5 months the amount of time i've been with her you basically need a higher power to stop and once you get it under control but still wanna have fun keep to a once a month thing or every 2 weeks dont do your drug of choice every week because it will grow into every day in no time at least with once a month or once every 2 weeks u can notice if you increase use if u go from say a month to doing every 2 weeks or go from every 2 weeks to doing once week etc...... then u must begin to limit yourself hope this helps peace

I was responding to someone else... I have no intention of dumping her. That is my plan, take the next 2 weeks off, then a treat, then work up to once a month. That I think is fine, recreational.
