I need help from anybody who can tell me how to go about moving there and getting a job in retail. I work in the buying office at a department store in NYC and would be interested in pursuing the same type of career over there.If anybody could give me some info on doing this or direction in finding a job over there it would be greatly appreciated. jamesspeller Posted August 1 Report Share Posted August 1 Hi,yeah London's a cool city! there are retail jobs all over the place! just make sure you come over with enough money to last a few weks and you'll be sorted.you can always sign up for an agency & do some temping til you get something you like! rent is pretty steep over here so flatsshare is probably best! loads of adverts in papers etc.we are coming to new york in august to see sasha & digweed @ twilo.staying for a week can't wait!I'll be happy to bring over some papers etc but I dunno anything about the visa side of things!
