File->Get External Data->Import. Choose Excel from the file types bar.

thanks...that worked like a charm. i use it cuz it's easy and i didnt need to do anything complicated except oranize some email lists.

what do you use? we have pledgemaker here, but it's big, complex and useless for anything i need....

I was just busting balls. Access is perfect for making small databases.
