jjacobson
I'm moving from NYC to Seattle on Monday....(Last night was my last night in the city - sigh) anyways, I'm wondering what the seattle scene is like. If anyone knows NYC, I like places like The Sound Factory. I don't know anyone out there, so this summer should be an adventure, if anybody can help me out, make suggestionsthat would be great. danielle_farrar
Hi! Welcome to our fair city!My website, http://www.marvelgirl7.com has some stuff that might be useful. I don't know about Sound Factory, since I'm not from NY. My friend's from NY, so he might be able to help out. You're totally welcome to come out on one of our romping nights.--Danielle------------------
a_countryman
I've never been to NYC (going to have to fix that). Anyhow, some good places and nights.I-Spy: Saturdays Lick It (House, Break Beat, etc.) Can't say much, only been one night.Last Supper Club: Saturday (Haven't been there in a while. Little too much posing and not enough dancing.)Showbox: Saturday Dedicated (Fun, but long lines to get in after 10:30)Back Door Ultra Lounge: Fridays are good if DJ Riz is there. Saturdays always fun. Really trippy interior and hella cool owner/bartender!Contour Mannequin Room: Saturday (Only place you can hear Trance. Good vibe and atmosphere. Promoter is into the art scene so you get amazing stuff happening sometimes.)Grab "The Stranger" and you can get all the addresses and locations. Or check out http://www.thestranger.com. Have fun.------------------
