FlipsSOE
guys at the nutrition store were telling me to avoid this at all costs. wehther it be whole, skim, lo-fat etc. they say due to the additives and hormones in milk, milk will negatively affect the muscles. therefore, all week long I have stopped drinking milk. anyone else hear of this?? elitesnautica
You asked.http://bbs.clubplanet.com/showthread.php?threadid=178660&perpage=15&pagenumber=1My feeling (in short) - there are much better sources of protein than milk.Rackham believes the opposite and had a study to back up his belief.I personally, was too lazy to go back and find any studies. Rackham says there are not any - I say there are but only a few and they are hard to find.Nautica

Also, don't forget the vitamin D when you take calcium. The body can NOT utilize Calcium without it. 15 minutes in the Sun per day is adequate - but that is hard sometimes for Northern winters.Nautica

I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a person's primary protein source. Anyway, like you I have no intention of repeating this debate.
