I've been bartending for almost 5 years but I'm not certified so I must agree in that it is very hard to find a job in NYC without being certified. However, my buddy's father is part owner of Carmine's & Virgil's over on 44th & 6th and he says that they are hriign bartenders. Its not a club but it IS a world-famous restaurant/bar. ANyway, I cant guarantee anything but I will be stopping in there myself. I'll give you more info after that if you like. Just PM me.
