“Da New Kid on Da Block†– DJ BIJAL. Producing and distributing his mixtapes nationally as well as internationaly in London & Japan (the only out of USA locations we know of that are not bootleged). DJ BIJAL is one hungry DJ looking to open new doors for himself.

Born BIJAL P. in India, Bijal was surrounded by music from as early as he can remember coming to the US at age 1. From classic soul and Motown to Indian and pop, music remained an ever-present influence in his life. Bijal’s love for music blossomed at an early age. Always being the 1st to turn the radio on and bring CDs to put in the CD players at house parties.

In 1999, Bijal made his 1st mixtape on his cousin’s dj set which became the 1st step into becoming a mixtape dj. Bringing the tape for a friend at a store resulted in a buzz of his tapes which than he began dubbing copies and selling them for $2 each.

In no time at all, Bijal jumped into clubs with a resume of clubs featuring: Babylon, Deco, Gasoline, Egypt, and Envy in Philly. As well as in NYC: Exit2 (Resident), Float, Limelight, Sound Factory, Speed, Ohm, Webster Hall, World, and many more. DJ BIJAL’s name also allowed him to DJ events featuring special guest such as Carmen Electra, Sean Paul, Lil’ Kim, Ashanti, and many more artist. DJ BIJAL has also worked with variety of artist and celebrities on his mixtapes from: Jinx Da Juvy (Def Jam), Rah Digga, Lady Luck, Sacario, Joe Buddens, Kaila Yu (5x Playboy Playmate), and many more.

In addition to his club work & producing beats, DJ BIJAL distributes his mix CD's throughout the country. After just a short time, the mixtapes have created a tremendous buzz among consumers and critics alike. MTV News highlighted his “Ahead of My Time†mixtape along with reviews of his CDs on various websites. Along with press release in nationally distributed industry only magazine “Network 40â€. Besides this, DJ BIJAL lauched his own label "Da Leauge Ent.". With a roster of very diverus artist starring Unexpected Arrival who is currently working on his album, along with Jade Foxx who is buzzing on many djs mixtapes.

DJ BIJAL's 1st film appearnce also happened in 2003 when we was invited to appear in the movie "Mixtape Inc." which hits movie theares in early 2004. The movie contains some of the more key people in the mixtape industry such as DJ Clue & Tony Touch, along with many hiphop artist such as Lumidee & Joe Budden.

So what’s next for this soon to be superstar DJ? “I’m just going to keep doing what I do and just try to keep doing something new & listen to feedback I get from critics and supporters to keep only the hottest stuff coming out."
