HAZE Posted October 2 Report Share Posted October 2 Went to The World on Saturday.Got there just as the doors opened, and the line wasn't too bad.They fixed the AC too, and it was nice and cool inside.Had a couple LI Iced Teas and met up with my sister and my friend.Then he showed up, Dennis Rodman.He came in with 6 Playboy models.He wasn't like most celebrities, who just chill in the corner and hope not to be noticed. He was all over the place.The Playboy girls were on the stage, and he was standing in front of it. They were throwing out Rodman T-shirts.He took a T-shirt, rolled it up, and stuck it up one of the girls' shirt.He grabbed the guy next to me, and told him to get it with his teeth.Then, he grabbed me and stuck a cherry in my mouth and one of the girls came and got it with her tounge!!Then, I realised that there were two cameras that were taping everything.Some people told me it was going to be on MTV, and others said Howard Stern.Not sure who was telling the truth, but when I find out, I'll let you guys know.Besides the Rodman thing, the club itself was much better than opening night.It looks like the kinks were all worked out.Even Tsettos seemed to be spinning better than he did the week before. bionic Posted October 4 Report Share Posted October 4 Hey Darrell,I was at World on Sat night and was walking in just as Rodman was getting out of his limo. It was funny to see all the old Roxy security guys outside again (brought back memories) I thought the place was nice inside, but the crowd was weak. There wasn't any energy - with the exception of 2 morons trying to battle each other in the middle of the less than half crowded dancefloor. It did provide for some entertainment though. I was walking around and next thing you know some girl Rodman was with grabs some guy, makes him face the wall, takes off his shirt and belt and hands the belt over to Dennis who procedes to fold it in half and lick the end of it and whip this kid (pretty hard) repeatedly in the ass. Whatever... more entertainment.... I agree with you that it was cool to have him hanging out in plain view with the rest of the people in the club.Anyway, we stayed till about 3 then headed to The Factory. I'd go again. The one thing that I liked was that it was a drinking crowd. Unlike later while at SF where there were K zombies all over the place. Now I'm no angel, believe me, but I stayed till about 9:45 and I swear this kid by the side of the dancefloor was in a hole the entire time.....
