Just Ordered My Eibach Pro System!!!

My shocks and struts are shot, so I ordered the Eibach Pro System from TireRack.com. I also got the alignment kit because I heard that Eibachs tend to "lean" after a while. It was under $700 for everything, including shipping and the alignment kit.

How long should I wait to get a wheel alignment?

Sounds like a master plan! The difference between shot stock equipment and tight aftermarket is night and day. You'll be amazed. Go with an upped rear sway bar too and you'll be cornering on rails.

The pro-kit for my car is kinda wack. Something like 30% softer in the rear and 20% stiffer in the front. I don't know why the hell they did that... it's gonna make the car understeer. Maybe they don't want entry level kids spinning their FWD cars and dealing with stupid lawsuits cuz ppl are dumb. Oh well.

My Pro System came today!!!!

Gettin' it put in on Wednesday.

I wish it was spring, dammit.

Is it gonna make my car handle worse in the snow?

Oh well if it is, I have no choice cuz my shocks and struts are shot to shit.

the answer: yes it will probably decrease snow traction, only because the suspension isn't able to flex as much and you have less fenderwell clearance, so you'll get snow jammed in there easier.

the upside is of course, the other half of the year when snow isn't around ;) small price to pay.

you'll have it in 2 weeks eh?

looks more like three to me ;) better give ms sugarnspice a ride.

better yet, take her to an AutoX :D

Well, I got it installed yesterday and MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!

You guys were right, I fuckin' LOVE IT!!! :D

Damn, I wish it was spring. My alignment seems ok for now, but my boy at the shop said to wait about a month and get an alignment.

In the spring I'm getting rims, sway bars and I'm gonna finally install my rear strut bar that's been sitting in my closet for almost a year.

well just dont put too much miles on it. if you do, you going to end up getting new tires... i ran my car with 1.5 camber and 3 months later, it was all metal...

Yeah for a street car -1.5 is way too much. AutoX and track will wear them down evenly. The 944 is running -1.6 all around, no uneven tire wear. At -.5 camber the shoulders were getting chewed up like crazy. The eclipse is running -1.2 up front, -.8 in the rear.. all even.
