sotuorlando Posted November 15 Report Share Posted November 15 I have several friends of mine in the service industry that work relatively on a tip basis so I know the importance on tipping your bartenders and any other service you might deem appropriate BUT one thing that I find so annoying and classless is when you tip the bartender and they ask you to hook them up with more cash. Last night after NERVE I cruised over to PRIVE, so I'm going to close my tab which was $55 and I tip the guy $7, which is not a FANTASTIC tip but I think it's good enough, and he has the balls to tell me "I thought you were going to hook me up". I wanted to fucking body slam him on the bar, BUT instead I just walked away. I do understand that there are bad tippers out there but to respond by asking for more money, that's just sad.Okay now I feel better! I dont think thats a bad tip at all.. i mean.. 13% is somn...I guess Im not the best of tippers, but in my book that is very reasonable... anything over 10% is well enough.. especially at a bar..
