colibri
Hi there, We are a group of friends meeting up in New York for New Years. As none of us have been to New York, we were hoping someone could suggest a good place to spend NY's Eve. I have beeen checking out the website www.newyears.com which gives a listing of places and I have sat throught 64 descriptions and am now down to 14!! It doesn't necessarily have to be one of the listed below. We are open to suggestions. As for what we like, well 6 people (2 straight couples, 1 gay) aging from 28-32 coming from England, Canada, Serbia and Denmark, well-travelled, fun-loving and we would like to go to a club which has soulful vocal house, old skool, not too keen on the old hip hop, but it seems that you can't get away from it these days. We wouldn't mind some nice appetizers/buffet but not the classic sit down dinner, and would like a place where we can dance the night away as well as sit down and rest our tired feet. Oh, and that doesn't finish at 2 am nor 10 am full of sweaty people. Would be up for a VIP table package max 200US per head (+free bottle of spirits etc) Not asking for much hey? Hoping someone has a solution .... thanxBryant Park DeepMetronomeB'LoThe ParkLoft on Broome, Rock The Casbah 2004Angel Orensanz FoundationCanteenLot 61Gotham HallMannahattaAmerican ParkVudu LoungePressure
