hookahmana Posted December 21 Report Share Posted December 21 OK so did the rounds last night, Avalon, Spirit and Crobar.Avalon was great for all Techno heads and the crowd was there. Unfortunately the type of crowd was too guido for me and my honey so we didn't stay long. We then went by Spirit and actually thought it was closed but for the guys outside wearing white.Was told by the doorman the place was dead so we saved the $$ and then headed over the Crobar.28 Street was a buzz of activity with cars, limos, cabs, cops and people everywhere. No lines and no attitude at the door so we got straight in.Got inside and the place was jumping. All rooms were packed and David Waxman was killing the main floor. The system sounded much better than last week and the crowd was very mixed. Girls, girls, girls everywhere. Lots of eye candy for sure.VIP room was outrageous and all rooms were playing House.No Hip Hop at all.2 Thumbs up to Crobar for a great night. icup Posted December 22 Report Share Posted December 22 I was there, too. It was def jumping. Now that the hype has died, I can see that place to slowly take over on saturday nights.
