Chysler ME412-faster than the Enzo?!

Recommended Posts

this was revealed yesterday at a Chrysler press conference

although it is a concept for now, Autoweek beleives that it may reach showrooms in 2006 (for $450k)

it has a 5.9 liter, 850hp, 850lb-ft V12 (4 turbo chargers and intercoolers)

it uses rwd and a 7 speed manual transmission. it weighs 2860 pounds.

the estimated 0-60 time is under 3 seconds....and 1/4 mile in 11 seconds...and a top speed of 240mph

dayum!!!!

thats what I was thinking

how are they going to have 850 hp on 2860lbs without 4wd? I would think it would just sit there and smoke the tires out.

Oh and i just thought of something. I bet its not awd cuz they probably had the primary concern of competing and beating Ferrari. And one of the wow factors is the top speed. That thing wouldnt get close to 240 with awd! And even if it somehow could, it would be way behind any RWD car! This is the only reasoning i can think of rite now.
