See Cedric's Bio below:

Cedric's arrival from France to Miami in 1998 was no accident, but rather a natural progression to a career that started 5 years earlier. A native of Marseilles, he started dj'ing under the influence of Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox at the tender age of 13. He was the youngest resident DJ ever at the legendary Club Queen in Paris. Despite the fame and recognition that came with this residency, Cedric wanted to grow his style and appreciation for music. His aspiration was and is, to grow as an artist and get the appreciation and respects of both fans and fellow dj's on the strength of his style and love of music.

Known for his personal blend of progressive music, hard and tribal house Cedric Gervais is quickly becoming one of electronic music's maximum exponents. Cedric has had the privilege of work with : Robbie Rivera, Timo Maas, Josh Wink, Lee Burridge, Tom Stephan (Superchumbo), Danny Howells, Angel Morales, Dirty Vegas, Deep Dish, and Steve Lawler. Production credits include working with Peter Rauhofer, David Waxman and Dirty Vegas.

World famous, Lenny Kravitz, approached Gervais personally while hearing him spin at South Beach staple hotspot Crobar. Kravitz dazzled by Cedric's talents, decided to work allow Cedric to remix two of his chart-topping hits: "Believe in Me" and "Stillness of Heart" which held a spot on the Billboard Charts for four weeks solid at number 10. The video can be seen on MTV2, MTV Europe Mun2, and Altv3.

Cedric Gervais is no stranger to success. His first release, "Burning" on YOU (Ultra) Records, produced in collaboration with singer/songwriter Tony Choy reached #3 on Billboard's Hot Club Play chart as well as #1 on Steve Lawler's Ministry of Sound Top 10 chart. He has also released, "Talking about a Revolution," featuring Shauna Solomon, (released by Hydrogen Records UK) and Panic Attackers featuring Alan T. "Rock the Beat" (released by Star 69), and "Let's Keep it Real" ft. Christy Prais (released by YOU/Ultra Records).

Currently Cedric is the king of Saturday nights in Miami as resident DJ of Crobar Miami "Stage" event. He also holds Friday residences at Crobar Chicago and Crobar New York. as well as a busy touring schedule that takes him to places like Club Stereo (Montreal), Pacha (Ibiza), Capitulo V (Portugal), Nikki Beach (Marbella), Papagayo's (St. Tropez), and Cavo Paradiso (Mykonos). He is also doing special events like Lucky Strike's Habitat Parties and Ministry of Sound in different Latin American locales (next event Ministry of Sound, Caracas, Nov 15, 2003). He has held other residences in Miami including creating the infamous Indio Loco Party which was held at Nikki Beach on Sunday's.

I'm still waiting to see you guys bring in some new talent. The place has been for 3 months now and the best you can do is Cedric Cervais, Peter Tong, Scumfrog, and Felix da Housecat on rotation? How about some other DJ's for a change - like Morillo, Picotto, PVD, Sasha & Digweed or even Calderone (NYC's resident) here - everyone but Tong has been here at least 5 times in the last year. There are so many big name DJ's that don't seem to make it across the midwest and you should make it a point to start pulling some of these people in like the other 2 locations. And here's an idea - start annoucing DJ's on your site more than 1 week in advance so people can actually get excited about these parties (if you ever decide to bring in some bigger names than the people we've gotten used to) The Spundae party @ Vision party blows this out of the fucking water - I've just about given up on Fridays @ Crobar and I'm sure alot of other people will too unless you start bringing in some new faces behind the tables.

I doubt anyone that’s already going to crobar will stop because pvd aint playing there. Obviously the music format is not the direction the new owners are taking, and so far judging by attendance, that seems like a good decission.

haha, mikediesel is moving up in the world, from coatcheck to HOST!! :blown: :blown:

I'm just using him as an example. In general I'd just like to see some new faces in there b/c its the same old shit every week. It is still new to some people but once that wears off I hope they move in a better direction - This place is supposed to be know for big name DJ's and its been disapointing so far.

BTW - no offense at all to the thread starter - I know you have absolutely no control over the issue
