scott
Chicago has long been anticipating the opening of this River North superclub. Soundbar is a 22,000 square foot multilevel ultra-modern playground, with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. Soundbar was originally supposed to open over a year ago, but their opening was delayed due to licensing problems. Needless to say, the problems have only served to create even bigger hype about the club, as Chicago scenesters, socialites and clubbers hold their collective breath for the opening of this minimalist masterpiece. Soundbar is Chicago's most recent upscale nightclub set in a mega posh, high-tech environment -- with its ultra-modern design and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, Soundbar will spoil the senses leaving nothing to the imagination. Stainless steel, smoked glass and fine custom made furniture are incorporated in a minimalist setting to create this masterpiece. Soundbar is the prototype of tomorrow's mega club introducing the concept of "fine dancing" to the Midwest -- luxurious and stylish. A 4,000 square foot dance floor, multiple bars, rooms and lounges each boast their own ambiance. Live international DJs spinning a variety of music throughout. This superclub is the brainchild of Rocco of Slick Designs who can also be accredited for Y Bar and Syn. The public opening is set for March 26th so keep your calendars clear. This is one venue sure not to disappoint.

miamilawdj2004
Hey What's up? TO those that have already been to Sound-Bar....HOW is the Dance floor? Meaning...does it get overly packed and sweaty or is there a decent ventilation system in there? How would you say it stacks up to other clubs as far as a place to see a great DJ and dance all night? It looks pimp as far as style goes but how FUNCTIONAL is it? Thanks!
