PCR Posted March 31 Report Share Posted March 31 Recently I've read a few articles about very successful start up companies designing high end cosmetics.They all started in “basement†– low level operations – actually most of them were family pharmacies or such, but somehow they were able to sell their products to NM, S5A and other high end boutiques. Anybody actually works for any of those cosmetic manufacturers?I am thinking… this is really high profit business….I mean, the stuff costs maybe $2 to make and yet they sell it for $80 or more.I am getting really curious and wondering if …..For starters, I have some knowledge of what is good for skin (I have a degree in molecular biology and second degree in pathology).But I am guessing it is all about marketing…..
