Haaps Posted April 6 Report Share Posted April 6 The Midnight Sons proudly present the 1st Annual Golden Vinyl Awards at Club Five (WDC) May 5th, May 19th and June 5th. Similar to Hollywood’s Golden Globe Awards, clubbers nominate their local favorites in D.C.’s and Baltimore’s Electronic Dance Community, and the collective voice determines the winner in the following categories: - best local dj (in each genre. i.e. house, drum and bass, breaks & trance), - best vocalist/mc - best live act - best event photographer - best dancing crew - best online broadcasters - Honorary awards will be given to “The Best Cultivator of the Next Wave,†and recognition of social/political groups.
