djmikedr Posted April 7 Report Share Posted April 7 It seems "just" being a DJ isn't enough anymore, you've got to be a producer to really make it.I see a near future where people will just "play" their tracks digitally. no records, no playing "any commerically available" material. Manual mixing will become unnessary.and with that being said, the DJ skill will be replaced by producer skill.theres programs now that beat match and mix for youfrankly its a scary thought that the "DJ" might become obsoleteand after 15 yrs of perfecting what I do now its just not good enough anymore.
