abrooksbro Posted May 24 Report Posted May 24 preppy is back in. watch out.. bc supposedly grunge will be coming back for the Fall preppy is not something that comes in and out, preppy people have always dressed this way, all of you people can kindly stop ripping our style, thanks Quote
nomembername Posted May 24 Author Report Posted May 24 :laugh:I love it...whenever a trend happens we start getting all of the "I've been doing that for years and now everybody else is ruining it" funkyfreshdc 1 Quote
abrooksbro Posted May 24 Report Posted May 24 Well I actually despise trends, which is why I don't want people trying to dress the way I do, because some douche celebrity most likely told them to. Also, don't pop your collar unless you know what it means Quote

bklynzzfinest Posted May 25 Report Posted May 25 the "alligator shirts" are made by Lascoste.in the 80s when they where big the 1st time it was Izod-Lacoste then it split to 2 companys. =) Quote

I am not rpping your style, just stating that its one of the hot things at this time. I am a buyer, i am supposed to know these things. Quote

I am a buyer, i am supposed to know these things.I am not saying it isn't a style, I am refuting that it's a trend. As i'm sure you can imagine, it sucks when people all of a sudden start copping your style, especially when as recently as last year, they would consider dressing that way to go somewhere casual "overdressed" and they didn't understand pastels. Go back to wearing gay von dutch stuff and leave preppy style alone. I can't even pop my collar anymore, because I don't want to be associated with all the posers. Quote

However, it annoys me when the steakheads who would be like "why is your collar up?" last season are now wearing pink polo's and popping theirs, which they are not qualified to do. Also they bastardize the style, by wearing garbage polo's from shitbag stores like A+F and Diesel Quote

As far as I know, anyone who's a reject with no fashion sense is qualified to pop their collar. funkyfreshdc 1 Quote
