I also met him at the Billboard awards some years ago...he's Newyorrican but very gringo...doesn't really speak spanish that well but for some reason insists on "celebrating his latin roots" by destroying the language...he communicates in salsa shout-outs and slogans...he's like "Oye mi gente linda...sabor...a gozar...que rico está todo esto...Tito Puente Jr. con mucho amor para mi gente linda...a gozar!!!"
