JonStephen Posted June 18 Report Share Posted June 18 you should rest your muscles at least 48 hours before working them out againif you do circuit training and hit most body parts for an overall workout, wait at least a day before working out again. chrismakk69 Posted June 18 Report Share Posted June 18 I only rest 1 to 2 days a week. I've been lifting consistent for 6 years...I was never a big believer in resting 48 hours between workouts. Guest brwneydtrouble Posted June 19 Report Share Posted June 19 I break up my sets into different muscle groups that way I can work out 3-4 times a week and still give my muscles plenty of rest.
