Rob and I were going to PVD and we get there, and there's *no line* . . . so I end up talking to the bouncers who were *really* nice and wearing this silly plaid shirts (they looked like lumberjacks, it would have been hard to take them seriously.)The bouncer stops me before I'm about to walk inside and give me a handful of quarters to throw in the *wishing well* that's outside the door - so I do it, throwing a quarter near each of these little plaques that said things like "Love", "Peace", etc. . . They let us inside, no searching (as usual) but no metal detector, either . . . the club is empty and there is *no* music on . . . so we're walking around, and the second floor was much bigger than it used to be, there were no bouncers anywhere . . .The music comes on, and there's still no one there. So Rob and I tell the bouncers we'll be back, and go home to pick up my best friend, and her bf . . . we get back, and there's still no one there . . .PVD comes on, and he is amazing . . . a few people are starting to filter in - Casey and Mitchell were the only one's whose faces I remember . . . all these people kept coming up to us and introducing themselves, but i didn't see any faces . . .Anyways, the entire nite there were so few people there, except those that really love the music . . . and PVD was *a mazing* the whole nite . . . there was room to dance, everyone was friendly . . . it was an incredible nite. I told Rob about my dream when I woke up this morning and he said maybe that's what *this* PVD will be like . . .
