HAZE
Some of you may remember my post from a couple weeks ago. If not, here it is:http://bbs.clubplanet.com/showthread.php?t=232513So I finnaly dropped it off at the dealer because I figured if it's something to do with the airbags, I'd rather have them fix it. They called me back and said that they didn't see anything wrong with the airbags, but I swear I smelled the CO2. They're double checking it right now. They said that my axel popped out and they popped it back in. If it popped out, how the hell was I driving it? They also said I need all new seatbelts on both sides of the front - $692.00I also asked how much it would be for fog lights because one of mine is cracked - $336My car was in an accident 4 years ago and they never fixed the plastic cover inside my wheel well. I asked how much it would be for that - $486The cover of my console broke and now it's being held on by double-sided tape. I asked how much that would be - $189They also said I need new brakes which is BS - $257Basically the only thing I'm going to have them do is the seatbelts. I still think that's a lot of money. Does anyone know of a place where I can get parts for cheaper, besides a junkyard?Oh well, at least it's not anything major.

It can join my first car 1988 Ford Escort, started with 4 cylinders by the time I was done with it, it had 2. I Still drove it for awhile somehow. HAZE
Well the only thing I really needed fixed was the seatbelts. I told them to do it. My fog lights are not sealed correctly, and water gets in them so the bulbs blow out constantly. Also, the plastic wheel covers inside the whell well are missing so that adds to the water problem. I told them to fix the seatbelts and just give me the fog lights and wheel well covers and I'll do it myself. They charged me 119.00 for the fog lights and 80 for the covers. The total is gonna be 967.00All that for hitting a Goddamn curb. Oh well, it could have been worse. At least the air bags are still OK.They said the parts will be in tomorrow. I should have it back by Wed.

Guest brwneydtrouble
There's a car parts site that you put in the make, model and year of your car and you get a drop down list of EVERY part you can think of, hit search and it gives you a list of junkyards/shop/mechanics that have certain parts with prices. It was given to me by a friend that owns a body shop who told me thats what other shops use to get their parts cheap. Lemme find it on my pc at home.
