What do live shrooms look like??

Recommended Posts

Theres a chance beings that cubenis mushrooms (the magic ones) grow in florida, especially after rains. But most aren't and some can kill you. The only ones I would pick and eat are cubenis, they are hard to mistake for anything else. They are yellowish brown, with skinny stems. Go to www.shroomery.org or try searching google for Psycilobe Cubenis (might be spelled wrong). Try searching for a Florida guide to hallucinogenic mushrooms

After all this rain these mushrooms have appeared suddenly on the grass

field next to my complex...

These things start out small and expand to about 3-4 inches at top.

White with some grayish/brownish dots.

Wonder if they'd be 'magic'???

Don't eat any mushrooms that you don't know about, it can be very serious. Can cause liver damage that will quickly lead to death, sometimes within 24 hours. I saw this thing on TV once this family went out in to the woods and picked these mushrooms, brought them home and cooked a sauce with them. They all woke up in the middle of the night with severe pains, couldn't even walk. One of the girls died and the others were in the hospital for weeks/days with severe liver damage, just think all the drinking you have ever done couldn't damage your liver even as much as these things.
